Enquanto andava pelo Youtube, descobri uma nova série da Amazon chamada "Undone". A série com um estilo criativo bastante próprio promete nos levar uma viagem alucinante.

Vamos falar sobre o primeiro episódio da nova série da Amazon chamada "Undone", ou traduzindo para português, "Desfeito".
No primeiro episódio, o nome dado à série não faz muito sentido, talvez seja porque a personagem principal, Alma (Rosa Salazar) desfaz o seu relacionamento, ou a sua tentativa de destruir o da sua irmã Becca (Angelique Cabral).
A verdade é que o primeiro episódio não diz nada em relação ao tema da série, para descobrir basta ver o trailer, que vou deixar no fim. Sobre o tema, deixarei para a segunda parte as explicações.
Alma sente um tédio desmesurado pela sua vida pacata, simples, previsível e boa mas decide terminar tudo quando o medo de desenvolver esquizofrenia como a sua avó toma conta dela e o tédio vence.
Não sendo suficiente, ela também tenta sabotar o relacionamento da irmã levando o barman para casa depois de uma noite de copos. Os três, Alma, Becca e o barman jogam "verdade ou consequência" e Becca acaba por beijar o barman.
O episódio termina quando Alma tem a primeira alucinação, vendo o pai já falecido a fumar na berma da estrada. Tal situação leva a que ela não preste atenção enquanto conduz e tem um acidente.
O estilo visual alternativo é curioso, funcionando como um elemento diferencial daquilo que já estamos habituados mas o que funciona bem também funciona para o mal pois temos momentos saídos do "uncanny valley".
A série é como se fosse uma bebida estranha que nunca provámos antes. Não consigo dizer se gostei ou detestei e talvez precise de mais alguns episódios para decidir.

The best thing about it is that it is so easy to understand. I have read some comments about how you need to be careful about your choices. But I don't think that is necessary. You can just pick whatever you want and it will be fine.

Undone - The First Episode was a captivating start to a sci-fi thriller that kept me guessing the entire time. The animation style was stunning and the story was very intriguing. I'm excited to see where the show goes and can't wait to see more.
